Diaspor-ComTM focuses on Events & Entertainment, but with a clear objective of uplifting young up and coming artists. They benefit through participation in joint performances with established artists. Diaspor-ComTM plays a key role in bringing these performances to large audiences through a thematic approach that captures the spirit of Africans in the Diaspora. This division is also dedicated to raising awareness on key socio-economic issues afflicting Africans. Examples of this are Education, Child labour, forced migration. The annual Human Trafficking Awareness Week in South Africa is one of the highlights of our CSR activities. We also focus on creating awareness about African legends and pioneers such as writers, inventors, scientists, entrepreneurs and industrialists.

Human Trafficking Awareness Week: 2-8 September 2007

It's that time of the year again, when we intensify efforts to raise awareness of the growing problem of Human Trafficking. We launched for the first time last year, an annual Human Trafficking Awareness Week - which has been declared, "THE BEST GLOBAL PRACTICE TO COMBAT TRAFFICKING" by the United States Department of State. This is a first in South Africa, and we hope you will join us once again in "Blowing the Whistle" on this barbaric practice.
